The vision of the Internal Complaints Committee is to build a workplace culture based on dignity, equality, and zero tolerance toward sexual harassment. The committee aspires to:

The mission of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) against sexual harassment is to create and maintain a safe, secure, and respectful workplace free from sexual harassment. The committee is committed to:
• Preventing incidents of sexual harassment through awareness and education.
• Providing a fair, confidential, and unbiased mechanism for redressal of complaints.
• Ensuring timely investigation and resolution of cases in accordance with the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
• Promoting gender equality, dignity, and mutual respect among all employees.
The University Grants Commission has officially published the University Grants Commission (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2013 in the Gazette of India. In compliance with it, DAV Autonomous College, Titilagarh, Balangir has constituted an Internal Complaints Committee for creating a safe environment for the staffs and students of the College. The committee conduct inquiries on sexual harassment, facilitates grievance redressal measures and awareness program to ensure congenial working environment.
Complaint Procedure:
Complaint can be submitted either in written form to the chairperson/coordinator/any ICC members or by sending email at [email protected]
Compliant will be kept Confidential.
The complaint should be submitted within three months from the date of the incident or, in the case of a series of incidents, within three months from the date of the last occurrence. If the aggrieved woman is unable to file the complaint due to physical incapacity, a complaint can be lodged by her relative, friend, faculty member, or an officer from the National Commission for Women or State Women's Commission. Any person with knowledge of the incident may also file a complaint with the written consent of the aggrieved woman.
